Washington Basketball Group, Inc., is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide elite female high school basketball players with a comprehensive program that focuses on skill development, sports performance training, and competitive tournament play. The main goal of our program is to provide each player with the necessary tools to maximize their talent, by supplying them with the best skills training, experience, and exposure to help them secure an opportunity to play basketball at the collegiate level. Established in 2004, the primary focus of this program is not winning, but improving all basketball skills. Every athlete knows that success and recognition in athletic competition doesn't just happen. They are the result of an honest commitment to excellence and hard work.

The Houstonians program is composed of players from all around the greater Houston area high schools. The Houstonians are based out of Fonde Recreation Center, the practice facility of the pros. Fonde is world known for the place where NBA, CBA, WNBA players play during their respective off seasons. In addition, they are known for developing young girls into to some of Houston top basketball players. We are proud to have Houstonians join the CyFair Texans Basketball family this year. Look for them on the adidas circuit this year. Players that have come from this program include Tye Jackson, Sharetta Hawkins, Nina Norman, Lindsey Harding(#1 WNBA Draft pick 2007), etc.


Girls Unlimited is a new young team located just outside Houston. The club teams in this group has some of the top young talent in Houston market. We are extremely excited to have them in our group this year. This should be a breakout year for some of the young ladies in this group.


We were excited to announce that in 2007 Season, S. A. Lady RoHawks joined our group.  The Lady RoHawks participate in the High School Age Group and participated on the adidas circuit in national tournaments. Since their inception, they have been on the list of teams to watch from various coaches worldwide.  This team allowed us to expand into the San Antonio market and will start to host high level tournament this coming summer.


Killeen is another team that will also us to reach our expansion goals. This team travels all over the club circuit competing in high level tournaments. Coach Short has been around the game of basketball for a long time, where he loves to push his young ladies to the limit. Look for this team to be in a tournament near you this summer.


The San Antonio Comets is an organization that focuses on teaching the fundamentals of basketball and teamwork. Playing on any team in the Comets organization is a very serious commitment by the athlete and their parents. Dedication and practice attendance are very important components in the improvement of your child and our teams. This young, fundamental team will join our group and help with expansion into the younger market. Coach Melvin Marks does a very good job with this team and we look forward to having them on board. I already seen some of their young freshman athletes are playing on their high school varsity programs and doing very well.


Bayou Angels has a team name that indicates exactly where they are based out of. The great state of La is represented well by this 16u team. This is another athletic team from Louisiana. The Bayou Angels are the 2nd team from La that joins our 2008 list and we are pleased to have them on board. I look forward to introducing the team and Coach Riley to the Houston market.


Wow, let me say we are pleased to have Ft. Bend Stars in our group this year. Ft. Bend Stars not only brings talented teams to our group, they also bring several people in their group that have experience with dealing with college coaches. Ft. Bend Stars has competed in Texas market for a long time and this coming year will move forward with plans of hosting events. Donna Fontenot bring a wealth of experience and knowledge of club scene and will be a valuable resource to continue to attract young ladies in the Ft Bend and surrounding area. Currently FBS offer both a competitive program and developmental program to help meet your daughters needs.


Austin Elite is one of the top club groups in the state of Texas year end and year out. Austin Elite is joining our group in 2008, which again will help us with our continued growth and expansion into the Austin market. AE is led by Coach Fonzell Martin who has been coaching since 1993. His efforts have helped over 100 girls continue playing basketball at the collegiate level. AE has several athletic kids up and down their roster, which has helped them compete on the national circuit every year. Another team we are extremely excited about having on our team in 2008.


Westside Ballers has a reputation our Houston as a strong boys program. Well in 2008 Westside Lady Ballers will move into the girls basketball scene. Coach Jones has dedicated a lot of years developing solid programs and we look forward to having these young ladies in our group.


This talented young team will join our group to help us move into the lower age group. The young ladies of Coast 2 Coast are looking forward to expanding their program this summer. Houston market and CyFair area look out for this year, exciting group of ladies.


Fort Bend Magic All Star Basketball started in the spring of 2002. They are an elite basketball club that competes in the Houston, Texas area. Currently, they are composed of both boys and girls teams. Boys: 8, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, and 17 years old. Our girls, which is now sponsored by CyFair Texans Basketball, age division is 15 years old.


Titans Academic & Athletic Program is dedicated to providing all youth, particularly those who are at-risk, an alternative state-of-the-art holistic developmental environment, resulting in habilitated and productive young adults who contribute to society. We will create an environment that provides the right interventions at the right time ensuring our youth acquire the tools necessary to make sound choices and decisions as they become confident and effective advocates for themselves as well as those less fortunate.


NTHB mission is to provide a sound structure basketball program for the youth that will allow them to learn to play basketball at a very high level. Each kid that enrolls to be apart of the North Texas Heat organization when they depart will know what it takes to be a positive role model in there respective community, they will have the attributes be a leader, they will know how to set obtainable goals, they will know the fundamentals of basketball, last but not least they will also know how to conduct themselves on and off the court.


Houston NW Tigers is a team composed solely of CyFair girls. This team will play in local events and is a pure developmental team. This team will give girls that are new to basketball a chance to play locally.
