Houston Top 20 Awards Banquet is a formal event to recognize the top 20 female basketball players in Houston.  Houston Top 20 was founded by Cedrick LaFleur, owner CyFair Texans Basketball.  LaFleur states he wanted to create an event in Houston to recognize the top female players like they have always had on the boys side of basketball.

The selection committee is made of local high school coaches, sports media, local club team coaches.
