University Vanguard Laboratory

12th grade - College Undergraduates
A1-2 days per week, 2 hours per day

Calculus (I, II, or III), Physics

Designed for students enrolled in summer courses at a college or university.
Also for students preparing for upper level and college courses; and credit by examination.
Develop superior knowledge of theory and application.

Advanced Theory Laboratory

7th –12th grade levels
Subject mastery this summer.
Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry
2 days per week, 2 hours per day
Mathematics (e.g. Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry)
Science (e.g. Chemistry)
Students master topics in which they expect to enroll in the Fall or Spring.
Also for students interested in acceleration and credit by examination.

Hyper-cruise Foundations Laboratory

3rd - 12th grade levels
1-2 days per week, 2 hours per day

Elementary School, Middle School, and High School level mathematics.
Students build core and fundamental mathematics skills up to and beyond grade level.

SAT/ACT Optimal Testing Laboratory

7th - 12th grade levels
1-2 days per week, 4 hours per day
SAT, ACT, THEA, GRE, NET, ISEE, TAKS

Students improve mathematics, reading, and test taking skills for exceedingly high scores on the SAT, ACT, and other entrance examinations.

Technical Writing Understructures Laboratory

8th – 12th grade levels
2 days per week, 2 hours per day
Grammar, Writing, and Essay
Students learn skills concerning grammatical components and effectiveness in sentence, paragraph, and essay development.

Autonomous Nuclear-Space Research Laboratory

3rd - 12th grade levels
1 day per week, 2 hours per day

Electronics, Robotics

Students develop projects in electronics and robotics while developing an understanding of aerospace power and propulsion systems.

JLL offers exciting learning opportunities in mathematics, science, and software for motivated students.

Our mission is to provide students with the highest level of mathematics and science training necessary to achieve exceptional academic goals. In our Summer Laboratories students are guided to substantially advance their knowledge in core mathematics and science topics and fundamentals. Our students gain high level understanding and achieve high academic goals through instruction that is personable, accessible, and, of course –challenging.
